Program Overview
The Basic Pest & Weed Control Program has been developed to enable the pest control operator to become proficient in general pest and weed control principles and procedures.
This program is based on Agriseta/ SAQA unit standard: 116065, 116125 & 116204.

Becoming a registered pest control operator:
On completion of the Basic Pest and Weed Control Program, and after you have completed the required practical mentorship of 6 months (fumigation 12 months) and being certified competent the learner will qualify to be issued with a P-registration number from the Department of Agriculture according to Act 36 of 1947.
